Here you will find the homework for each week. Homework is posted every Sunday evening. Here you will find the "I can" statements, which are the skills that students will be working on each week, as well as the weekly newsletter. ENJOY!

Homework week of March 10th

I can statements:

IMPORTANT!!!!

We need one more (preferably two more) parent volunteers for Van Dao and Himes.  Currently, these classes each have 3 volunteers.  The kids will be studying to properties of liquids, they love being in the lab and I hope you can make it!

The second grade is preparing to study "Matter" in the Explore Lab. 

Below are the sign-ups for the three labs for your child's class.  We will also need assistance with lab set up on the Wednesday preceding each lab (3/4, and 3/11).  This lab is a lot of fun, the children have the opportunity to apply what they have been studying and apply that knowledge in hands on learning.  Lab guides will be distributed prior to the lab dates.  Thank you!

They will be used to build a final project to tie in our Famous Americans study in social studies. The water bottles should be about 16.9 oz. (the size of a typical deer park water bottle, but can be any brand!)
